Feeling Stuck in Your Career? Here’s How to Get Unstuck.
Feb 09, 2021 Season 1 Episode 9
John Neral

Throughout your career, there will be times when you feel “stuck,” “undervalued,” and “underutilized.” These aren’t pleasant feelings, but they are important along your career journey. You’ll know when you are doing work you love and are thriving. You’ll also know when you are not. I’ll share some key indicators to help you assess how stuck you are.

What if you love where you work, but there is no clear path upward so you can get the promotion you want. It’s an interesting situation, and I’m going to talk about that with you because you can either wait it out or take full control of your career and do something about it.

In this episode, I’m going to help you gain clarity on what these terms mean, signs when they are happening to you, and how to get yourself out of these situations to help you navigate your career toward the goals you want.

These are normal feelings and things that happen to all of us. But there are ways to get out of it, and if you don’t have a stretch project, you might want to get one.
