As the pandemic continues, many Americans are struggling to find work and get back to work. While there are things you can do, it is in your best interest to work on managing your thoughts. Remember that your thoughts create feelings, which then create actions that produce results. How are your thoughts helping or hurting you in your job search process?

For this episode, I’m talking to Project Manager Clare Simmons. Last year, Clare was a member of my #SHOWUPChallenge and joined a dedicated group of professionals committed to working on their job search, interviewing, and networking skills. Clare received multiple job offers after months of hearing nothing. Clare got to choose which job she wanted.

John and Clare discuss her job search process and how she managed her energy and focus when she didn’t hear anything from potential employers. We talk about how she SHOWed UP to communicate her value, communicate her worth during her interviews, and what she learned from the negotiation process.
