Position Yourself Strategically in 2021
Jan 12, 2021 Season 1 Episode 2
John Neral

Positioning yourself strategically in the marketplace can be a bit tricky and frustrating. You look at the job posting, apply, and hear crickets. You question what you need to do to get someone to respond to your application and give you an interview. If you are not positioned strategically, it will take a long time before you get invited.

Career transitions need to be strategic and intentional, designed to showcase your value and expertise to a new organization or company. How you tell your story is based on the totality of your experiences. Without fully understanding those experiences and what you’ve learned and gained, you won’t be able to position yourself accordingly.

This episode will help you figure out how best to position yourself in the marketplace while assessing what’s working and what isn’t as you navigate your career. We will also look at how you are applying your lessons learned from 2020 into your story.
