As a job seeker, you must build rapport with the hiring manager to get them interested in who you are and what you do. This should be a constant focus for you during your interview, but I’ve found one trick to help you generate interest and build rapport from the start.
While being energetic and engaged is certainly a given, you’ll build rapport by finding something interesting about yourself to share with the hiring manager while communicating who you help and what you help them do.
