As a job seeker, you must build rapport with the hiring manager to get them interested in who you are and what you do. This should be a constant focus for you during your interview, but I’ve found one trick to help you generate interest and build rapport from the start.

While being energetic and engaged is certainly a given, you’ll build rapport by finding something interesting about yourself to share with the hiring manager while communicating who you help and what you help them do. Listen to this short episode for a great tip to help you during your next interview.
